Just before Christmas, Chad and I were lucky enough to visit the beautiful city of Las Vegas for the first time. We stayed at the Palazzo located right on the Strip, the perfect place to keep you busy for months. I couldn’t get enough of exploring the city and experiencing everything it had to offer!
One thing that really caught my attention was the architecture in the Palazzo and Venetian corridors, it was breathtaking. And the view from our hotel suite was unbelievable – we even got to watch the sunrise over the distant mountains. (A view I’ll never forget!)
There is no shortage of things to keep you busy in Sin City, from casinos in the lobby of every hotel to delicious restaurants with a massive assortment of food.
The food was definitely one of the best parts. Staying for 5 days allowed plenty of time to try some of the well known spots – my favorite had to be Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen at The LINQ. I had his award-winning Bacon Mac-N-Cheese Burger, it was huge and very tasty.
Since it was the month of December, yes, there were Christmas decorations everywhere! What a beautiful city to celebrate the holidays in, thanks for having us Vegas!! We’ll definitely be back. 😉

An afternoon of shopping at the Fashion Show Mall… (that’s what you see in the background, behind the fountain).
There were also a lot of famous hotels that I recognized, like the ones here. The Eiffel Tower you see is located at the Paris Las Vegas.
I loved watching the boats go by in the Venetian, where there are gondola rides available for anyone that’s looking for a romantic evening, European style.
