We’ve entered a new DECADE, and so far it’s been a whirlwind of events, to say the least. A great awakening is happening on our planet, and I’m all for it!
During these tough times, you might’ve experienced lots of worry, anxiety and doubts about your future or financial security.
Maybe you’ve considered starting your own business. Or maybe you’re super intrigued by the idea of pivoting your career into the online space.
My question to you is… WHY haven’t you started yet!?
The future is online. This is your permission slip to adjust and step into your new role before the year is over.
As I’m rewriting a few of my goals for 2020 (adjusting them based on the circumstances – you bet your a** I’m going BIG and taking advantage of this new reality), one of my favorite poems comes to mind, “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost. In the midst of our busy days, we’re constantly tempted to take the easy path, follow the crowd and brush off our dreams for a later date.
But what if I told you that you can create your own financial security? Break free from all time, money and location constraints.
It’s easy to focus on the possibility of failure and neglect your passions just from pure fear of the unknown. NO MORE!I’m here to tell you that you do have permission to go for that seemingly hard-to-reach goal and pursue your dreams.
In the end, it will be soo so worth it. I promise you.
We were put on this earth for a reason, not to work on someone else’s purpose – so instead of letting fear take control, I challenge you to make a list of the wonderful things you would like to achieve in this new decade – this new reality we’re currently shifting into. Below each goal, break it down into smaller, easier tasks you’ll need to do to put a big, fat checkmark and write DONE!
This major societal shift can be scary, but it can also be exciting, and I want to see you THRIVE. Think big and don’t hold back – I know you will achieve greatness.
The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I –
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
